Referalink is adding 2 new patient and report tracking services along with a flat rate financial model.
Available in September 2008 Referalink’s call center will begin contacting patients. For every referral or order, we will call each patient up to 2 times. We will ask the patient if they have made an appointment as requested. Appointment time and date will be entered into Referalink if available or documentation of non-compliance. If no appointment has been confirmed 30 days after referral date, the referral or order will automatically display an alert flag.Starting in October 2008, every order and referral sent through the Referalink Network will include a fax cover sheet requesting the “referred to” provider to fax the consultation report. Referalink will electronically match the report with the patient entry in ReferaLink and display an alert flag if a report is more than 30 days late.
Referalink is charging $50 per physician per month for our traditional precert/authorization service and these two new services. Existing customers will have to convert to this flat rate model to take advantage of these new services.
